Thursday 7/15/10

On Thursday my and two other groups ventured to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Our walk started at Love Park where we met our tour guide who showed up around up to the part of the Rodin Museum.

As we started our walk we looked at how many different statues and trees were along the parkway. Our guide talked about how the parkway was designed to resemble Paris. It did as well as look green with the many young trees planted around the parkway. There were many statues from different artist to decorate the parkway further. It gave it an abstract artistic look with the many different types of art.

At The Rodin Museum there were sculptures capturing the human form in different poses and stances. After which we ventured to the other side of the parkway to view more of what it had to offer. Al in all it was very informational
