The Fairmount water works

Last week we went to the Fairmount water works. The walk was long and hot on the trail they could uses bathrooms and water fountains. When we arrived they gave us a tour and I learned that pipes was made out of wood in the 1800’s.I also learned what a fish ladder is and how they are used. I found out that the Fairmount water works had to close dew to pollution. I also found out that the Fairmount water works was the first place to distribute water in the world.
