Thursday, August 5 we went on a trip to Port Richmond. We rode around on a hot shuttle bus that had no air conditioning with a person who works at the Philadelphia Port Authority. We learned how things are shipped in and out of Philadelphia and how they sort them out to go certain places. We went to the Tioga Marine and Packer Terminal where they ship fruits, cars and other things like McDonalds hamburger meat. I use to always ride pass them with my mother and wonder what it was and now I know.
